Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs the use of accadvisor.ai (“Service”), a subscription-based AI chatbot that provides medico-legal advice for ACC claims in New Zealand. By accessing or using the Service, you (“User”) agree to comply with this Policy. The Service offers two subscription types: a $4.99 1-day trial subscription and a $49.99 monthly subscription that rolls over unless canceled. Payments are processed through Stripe.

1. User Responsibilities

1.1. Lawful Use: Users must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in New Zealand and any other jurisdiction that may apply. Users may not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activities.

1.2. Accurate Information: Users are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information during the subscription process and when interacting with the Service. Misrepresentation of identity or false information is prohibited.

1.3. Personal Use Only: The Service is intended for personal use by individual subscribers. Sharing login credentials, redistributing content, or using the Service on behalf of others without authorization is strictly prohibited.

1.4. Data Privacy: Users must respect the privacy and confidentiality of others when using the Service. Any personal information shared with the Service must be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Service’s Privacy Policy.

2. Prohibited Activities

2.1. Unauthorized Access: Users may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or any other systems connected to the Service. This includes hacking, password mining, or any other means of interference.

2.2. Abuse of Service: Users may not engage in activities that disrupt, interfere with, or cause harm to the Service or its users. This includes the use of automated tools, bots, or any other technology that may overload or damage the Service.

3. Subscription and Payment Terms

3.1. Subscription Plans: Users can choose between a $4.99 1-day trial subscription or a $49.99 monthly subscription. The monthly subscription will automatically renew each month unless the User cancels before the renewal date.

3.2. Cancellation: Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refunds will be issued for partial months.

3.3. Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, Users agree to Stripe’s terms of service and privacy policy. The Service does not store payment information.

3.4. Failed Payments: If a payment fails, the User’s access to the Service may be suspended until the issue is resolved. Repeated failed payments may result in account termination.

4. Account Security

4.1. User Account: Users are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their account credentials. Sharing account credentials is strictly prohibited, and Users must notify the Service immediately if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.

5. Termination and Enforcement

5.1. Termination of Access: The Service reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User’s access to the Service without notice if they violate this Policy. Termination may result in the loss of access to the Service and any associated data.

5.2. Enforcement: The Service may take appropriate legal action against Users who violate this Policy, including, but not limited to, reporting illegal activities to law enforcement authorities.

6. Modifications to the Policy

The Service reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after any changes to the Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
